Klahanie is a Chinook word meaning “enjoyment of the outside world.” That meaning reflects exactly why Klahanie Tree Service was founded — to share a love of the outdoors while giving back to the community.

What started as a simple donation of a cord of firewood to the Port Angeles High School Baseball team’s silent auction turned into something much bigger. With over seven years of experience in the tree service industry, I realized how much I missed the work — the challenge, the skill, and the chance to connect with others. More importantly, I saw an opportunity to teach my sons a valuable trade and the importance of community involvement.

At Klahanie Tree Service, our mission is simple: provide high-quality, affordable tree care and dirt work while supporting youth sports and academic programs whenever possible. For us, this is more than just a business — it’s a passion project built on relationships, family values, and giving back.
